The room offered a stunning view and was impressively clean and comfortable. Dining was a highlight, featuring superb meals crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The cold atmosphere and unprofessional service made it less memorable than anticipated.

Had a fantastic time with a group of friends. We went for a guided canoe trip down the River Wye and also enjoyed the nearby Forest Hills Golf Club. The location is great with stunning views and plenty to do right from the doorstep. The food was lovely, and the staff were attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The bunkhouse was decent, but we did notice some areas needed a bit more attention to cleanliness.

Staying here means waking up to killer views of the river—just stunning. The bunkhouse offers decent value with a cozy atmosphere, perfect for groups, right in the middle of a lovely area full of outdoor activities.
Those stairs leading up to the rooms are steep and not really luggage-friendly. a full-size suitcase would be a hassle, so pack light. The bathroom size is tight, and the carpeted floors are a bit off-putting from a cleanliness standpoint. The decor throughout felt a bit worn down, needing a refresh to match the charm of the surroundings. The restaurant food was decent but nothing that'll knock your socks off. it's all pretty standard pub fare, and it can take longer than you'd like to get a hot breakfast.
